Show Description

Comprised of 10 accomplished musicians from around the Greater Boston area, No Static specializes in expertly re-creating the bluesy jazz-rock sound created by Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen and Walter Becker decades ago. Dan-Fans know that the music spans genres with complex time and key changes popping up where sometimes least expected. No Static has been playing the Steely Dan songbook for over 15 years now, and their sold-out shows keep audiences coming back for more. Over time, young and old Steely Dan lovers have discovered and enjoyed the passion and precision that No Static brings to all of their performances. This talented band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike, and they’ve been honored to share the stage with original Steely Dan band members. Both Walt Weiskopf (saxophonist) and Jon Herington (Music Director/guitarist) have performed as guests at their shows.
