Welcome to the Regent Theatre, "Arlington's Showplace of Entertainment" since 1916!

Since its grand opening over a century ago, the historic Regent Theatre remains true to its roots as a vibrant vaudeville house presenting live music concerts, theatre, dance events, family entertainment, comedy, independent films, film festivals, and more. Today, the Regent is an intimate 450-seat performing arts and cultural center with excellent acoustics, superior sightlines, state of the art audiovisual systems, and comfortable seating.

Conveniently located just off Mass Ave—minutes from Cambridge and Boston—the Regent is MBTA- and handicap-accessible with affordable street parking and a large municipal lot across the street.

The Regent is dedicated to bringing the highest quality events to the area–and while we are a community theater attracting diverse audiences from Arlington and the surrounding towns of suburban Boston–we have a number of exclusive events throughout the year with nationally and internationally known performers–many of whom are icons of the stage and screen.,

Within a vast array of genres, the following groups, solo artists, and entertainers have played the Regent during the past 20 years: Samara Joy, Mickey Rooney, Paula Poundstone, Johnny Winter,Taj Mahal, Hot Tuna, Ed Asner, Odetta, Steven Tyler, Asleep at the Wheel, Mountain, Vanilla Fudge, Rebecca Parris, John Mayall, Keith Emerson, Mike Smith of the Dave Clark Five, Dresden Dolls, Neil Innes, Barry & The Remains, and David “Honeyboy” Edwards–to name but a fraction.
