Why Rent the Regent?

The historic Regent Theatre is a unique, affordable 460-seat venue to rent for your public or private event, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting for performances and a big screen for film events. Our seating is spacious and comfortable with excellent sight lines and open space at the back for gathering and networking. Easily accessible by public transportation, we are located in the heart of Arlington Center (minutes from Cambridge and Boston) with ample parking available. The theater is an “all-ages” venue, but is licensed to sell beer & wine at events where alcohol sales are appropriate.

We understand each event is unique, and our facility, box office, production, and marketing staff will work hand-in-hand with you during the entire rental process to ensure we do whatever we can to facilitate the success of your event.

Amenities

The Regent has a traditional movie theater concession stand selling popcorn, candy, and soft drinks in the outer lobby. If you would like adult beverages at your event, we have a small bar inside the theater selling beer, wine, and hard cider. Within steps of the Regent are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. There is a municipal parking lot across the street with ample street parking as well.
