Make the Scene with Programme 4

Programme 4 is a feature length “broadcast” of analog, UHF-style television from the fictional town of Golden Sands, filled with fake opening titles, commercials, interstitials, music videos, idents and more – a visual feast with a dazzling array of special guest stars from the worlds of comedy and music.

In the spirit of creating an immersively groovy presentation, cinema screenings will include a musician playing audience members in on a Rhodes piano (Josh Kantor), a master of ceremonies in character, a 10 minute cinema snipe package from the fictional “West Sands Plaza Cinema”, and after the feature: a 70’s style talk show with yet another special guest (Juliana Hatfield, who will also be performing a surprise number) in-conversation with Programme 4 creator Rachel Lichtman.
