The DVD also features two live concert videos featuring Debbie Cavalier and her band performing “So So Happy” and “Simon Says,” plus a behind-the-scenes chat with Debbie, hilarious concert outtakes and fun fan interviews.

Debbie and Friends concerts are fun for the whole family. Parents and kids join in this interactive “variety show” featuring a diverse array of styles including rock, pop, country, reggae, and Broadway-esque tunes. This full-band performance will include both Debbie and Friends songs and some classic favorites, with a cast of top-shelf musicians from Berklee College of Music, including Debbie Cavalier on vocals and keyboard, Rory McKenzie on bass, Eric Salt on guitar, Bill D’Agostino on drums, Mike Carrera on vocals! Debbie and Friends will also perform with some of their own animated music videos—a real favorite with audiences of all ages!

Debbie’s award-winning performances offer interactive, family-friendly music that includes original songs about stories kids know and love: “Three Little Pigs,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Goldilocks,” as well as familiar jokes such as in “Knock, Knock Song” and “I’m Not Tired.”

Debbie Cavalier is a trained musician, seasoned publishing professional, and music educator. Having graduated with a degree in music and music education at Berklee, Debbie taught elementary and high school music, and spent many years in the music education publishing industry before becoming the Dean of Continuing Education at Berklee in 2003. Debbie has written more than 100 music education books and her work has won countless awards, including a nomination for Kids Music CD of the year by Nickelodeon.

Debbie lives in Watertown, MA. When she’s not writing or performing music, she can be found in her kitchen making (and eating) homemade chocolate chip cookies, or strolling the sidewalks with her dog Sophie. Her fans continue to inspire her to create quality children’s music—or as Debbie likes to
say, “Kids’ music that’s all grown-up!”

Here’s what people are saying about Debbie and Friends:

“Sweet, upbeat, classic kids’ songs that are fun to sing along to and bring new twists to your
favorite children’s stories. You should see a room full of kids reacting to this song—it’s so much
fun!” – Boston Children’s music

“Upbeat, danceable tunes based on popular children’s stories.” – Boston Parents Paper

“Debbie’s musical background comes humming through on this disk. It’s all strong melodies
and rich harmonies. The lyrics give us the kid content, but the music is all grown up.” – Today’s
Parent

“Fresh and crisp… a great sing-along, dance-along collection for preschoolers.”
– Kids Home Library, Creator’s Syndicate

“An enchantingly upbeat personality that permeates everything she does, especially her work in
entertaining young children.” – FamilyManOnline CD of the Month April 2010

“A warm, energetic and charismatic children’s entertainer. More Story Songs offers child-friendly
pop music featuring Cavalier’s sweet-timbered voice and clearly articulated lyrics, backed up with
spot-on vocals and well-orchestrated instrumentals,”—Examiner.com – Children’s Entertainment

“New story songs, jokes, games and surprises to delight and entertain the whole family. It’s like
having your own variety show with sing-along, dance-along, laugh-along fun.”
– Shakefire.com

“Every single song on this CD has a very upbeat rhythm and you find yourself dancing along with
each song. “ – MommyPR

“We’re all huge fans of the fantastic beats of every track on this newest album from award winning
Debbie and Friends.” – Lolidots

“Rosie Wrong Rhyme” will have your kids screaming out the right words, laughing at silly
Debbie’s mistaken prose that just doesn’t make sense. My kids are partial to “Wendell,” a tune
that gets repeat play whenever it’s in the CD player. The reggae-type beat makes adults bop their
heads, as well.”—Muse Reviews

“If (my kids’) little happy faces and giggles aren’t convincing enough that they love this CD, then
I don’t know what would be.” – Oneboredmommy

“If Karen Carpenter performed songs for younger audiences, she’d sound like Debbie and Friends.
The sophomore release by a band with distinctly gorgeous lead vocalist who bring to stories to life
through music with a style that hearkens back to the seventies (with a little rap thrown in for good
measure).” – Traveling with Baby
