Since 2000, the brainchild of vocalist/musician Lisa Yves, Jazz for Kids has paid homage to traditional jazz geared towards young kids.  Armed with a quintet of Boston's best Jazz musicians and Lisa's chorus of Young beboppers, she headed into the recording studio and created Jazz For Kids’ “Everybody's Boppin'”.  The CD was welcomed by Jazz musicians like Jon Hendricks and Ritchie Cole, praised by radio personalities Ron Della Chiesa and Eric Jackson, featured in Jazziz Magazine and The Parent's Paper and even used in classrooms as a teaching tool.  Now, Lisa brings together her Young Beboppers, some of who are all grown up with Special guests Groove Control, a youth ensemble led by notable Boston bassist Tal Shalom Kobi performing with the Young Beboppers keeping traditional jazz alive for future generations. http://www.jazzforkids.net/
