Concert at the Regent Theatre on March 28 Celebrates the Release of a New CD,
Happy Accidents

Billy Jonas is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and industrial re-percussionist whose primary instrument is the audience. Each concert begins with a simple "tuning" of the audience; from there, Billy charts a playful, whimsical course through musical stories of life, love, joy and triumph over "Murphy's Law." His upbeat, engaging presence (both onstage and off) encourages active audience participation, resulting in concerts that are the perfect mix of structure and brilliant spontaneity.
What do you get by pairing traditional instruments (such as guitar and harmonica) with recyclable, foraged, and homemade objects (such as buckets, broom handles, bottles, and key chains)? Billy’s brand of percussion-based music percussion-based music enchants audience of all ages.
For any given performance, Billy determines and shapes the specific nature of this spellbinding, unforgettable, neo-tribal hootenanny with the audience. Billy tailors both his song selection (from his extensive catalog) and its presentation to suit the needs and vibe of the people in the room. So every Billy Jonas concert is a unique experience! He makes fun, straightforward music that is accessible to anyone and everyone, regardless of age or culture—great for facilitating connection and community while fostering inspiration and (most importantly) FUN.

Whenever I see him perform, my face hurts from smiling.” And Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary) testifies, “Billy Jonas is one of the most original, moving and simultaneously hilarious performers I've ever seen.”
