The Gary Backstrom Band is a high energy, original, innovative act featuring the infectious licks and songwriting of nationally recognized guitarist Gary Backstrom. The band’s music features clever, hook-filled songwriting and arrangements with intense interaction among the musicians. The band’s unique sound is exciting, unpredictable improvisation that can only be heard in the best live acts on the scene today.

Greg was a member of the Cars. He joined Todd Rundgren along with Elliot Easton, Kasim Sulton, and Prairie Prince to form The New Cars and still continues to tour with Todd. In 2018, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Cars

(He will not be appearing at this show)
A Wizard, A True Star. The title of Todd Rundgren’s 1973 solo album aptly sums up the contributions of this multi-faceted artist to state-of-the-art music. As a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist, and, most recently, interactive artist (re-designated TR-i), Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of rock music.

Todd Rundgren’s Spirit of Harmony advocates for the moral imperative of music education and music performance for youth, beginning at the earliest age possible, offered in schools or as after-school programs. We forge meaningful partnerships among music programs, corporations, and other music education non-profits, engaging supporters and music fans to become involved in working with music education programs nationally and in their communities.
